The ESA Score is Elevation Sports Analytics' proprietary, sport-specific rating for the quality of a potential betting opportunity. It is created when ESA's production system brings together model probability, the available price and implied probability, market quality, matchup and situational context, and other validated inputs for that sport. Those layers are evaluated under one repeatable framework, then measured against ESA's production thresholds.
The score is not a guarantee, a win probability, or a reason to force action. It is a decision tool: a higher-quality signal can advance for final review and tier assignment, while a slate that fails the standard can produce no play at all. That selectivity is the advantage over services built around volume, opinion, or a daily quota. ESA uses the score to compare opportunities consistently, explain why a selection qualified, and learn from results, ROI, units, price, and closing-line value over time—while keeping research models separate from customer-facing production.
